Sarah makes jewellery using silver combined with translucent acrylic forms, and cut, dyed and heat formed polypropylene. Sarah’s ideas develop through an on-going dialogue between drawing and the physical handling and shaping of materials, she is currently inspired by underwater plants. A continuing interest in re-examining the penannular and annular brooch form fulfils her desire to integrate function with aesthetic. Sarah also works to commission.
